FOR-1 是一款电池供电的单通道光纤读数仪，能够高精度测量压力、温度、应变和位移传感器。
光纤温度、压力、应变和位移传感器对微波和射频辐射具有完全的免疫力，具有高温工作能力、本质安全性和非侵入式使用特点。每个传感器连接器上贴有 7 位仪表系数，使 FOR-1 读数仪能轻松识别传感器类型和校准参数。
通过白光互相关器（美国专利 5,392,117 和 5,202,939），FOR-1 能以惊人精度测量法布里-珀罗光纤传感器的绝对腔长，在最恶劣条件下提供一致的测量结果。FOR-1 分辨率为满量程的 0.01%（无平均），精度为满量程的 0.025%。
FOR-1 读数仪具有非易失性存储缓冲器，可存储多达 50,000 个数据样本。数据记录序列、持续时间和其他操作参数可通过前面板界面或 RS-232 通信端口轻松编程。FOR-1 标配 RS-232 通信端口和 ±10 V 可调模拟输出。
采用闪存 EEPROM，便于固件升级。
FOR-1 采用坚固的 1/8 DIN 外壳设计，能够承受工业环境中的重度使用和操作，电池寿命长达 8 小时。
