SMARTprofile II 组合应变和温度传感器设计用于长距离分布式变形（平均应变）和温度监测（平均温度），使用 BOTDR / BOTDA（布里渊散射）和 ROTDR（拉曼散射）技术。
SMARTprofile II 传感器由两根粘接和两根自由单模光纤（BOTDA / BOTDR）以及两根自由多模光纤（ROTDR）组成，嵌入聚乙烯热塑性型材中。粘接单模光纤用于使用 BOTDA / BOTDR 系统进行应变监测，而自由单模光纤用于创建 BOTDA 测量的光回路或使用 BOTDA / BOTDR 系统进行温度测量（传感器变形 < 0.2% 时为定量，> 0.2% 时为定性），并补偿粘接光纤上的温度效应。两根额外的多模光纤对机械应变不敏感，用于温度测量，通过拉曼系统补偿温度效应。为冗余起见，应变和温度监测均包含两根光纤。型材本身提供良好的机械、化学和温度耐受性。型材尺寸小，使传感器易于运输和安装，可通过埋入或表面安装方式进行。
